FOB Won't Marry To TSSM
I installed a new Harley Security TSSM and siren on a 2007 Softail. I married the TSSM to the bike using the procedure outlined by HD (start/stall, off on, wait 10, off on, wait 10…). The procedure worked best I can tell and the bike starts, runs, and lights are normal.
I entered the personal PIN, but I can’t get system to go beyond that. The only way I can exit that step is to turn the ignition off. The system remembers the PIN I entered, but will not marry to the FOB (the buttonless type). Also, if I try to check for codes using the two left signals one right one right one right, it throws me into the PIN configuration.
Without a married FOB, the security system will not arm. As a last resort, I checked the battery in the FOB just in case it was dead, but it looks good putting out a healthy 3v. I guess I could always bring it in to service so they can hook up the computer, but it kind of flies in the face of Ride Free.
Any ideas?
Steve

RE: FOB Won't Marry To TSSM
I had the same problem when I installed my system. You will need to go to the dealer and have them marry the fob to the alarm. They need to hook thier laptop into the bike to enter the information. Take the fob(s) and their tag(s) to the dealer with the bike and they should be able to hook you up. It only took them about 10 minutes to do my Dyna. It will cost you about 15-25 but I got lucky and they did mine for free.
