Starter info
 

I have a HD with S&S engine 96CI and yes some starter problems. I replaced the primary case already but no succes. No I'm controlling the starter, what I don't know is : when you do the open armature test, they speak in the workshop manual that there should be continuity between pairs on the commutator. But when I'm measuring all commutators are together. What I mean is , whatever commutator you take I have always continuity. Between 1and 3 O ohm etc....
I did already the armature short test and this was ok.
Can anyone give me some tech info about these starters please ?
