well, mr. mar, you'll have to eat your words.
what the h$$$ is an ign module??? it controls the engine. since when did engine management apply only to efi, you know, even a distributor is an engine management item.
go back and do more research, there are more than speedo codes. you made a blanket statement which is not true, yes, some sportsters do have more diagnostics than others.
what is the diff between ign on the efi models and mine??? nothing!!!! i control curves, offsets and if i want, based off map, i choose not to, i run rpm base timing.

Which wires needed to be grounded ?
Ok I have fixed it. I had to trace back the ground wires. There is 2 that need to be grounded that run out of the connector. So I just put a nice little connector on it and grounded it to the frame. Looks good and runs like a champ! Thanks for the help and if anyone else is thinking about removing their headlight I can help ya out.
Which connector ? The instrument wiring harness or other connectors under tank ?? The wiring harness I need Harley doesn’t make anymore of course I can find connectors and make my own but really tired of broke things sooo plug and go is how I’m trying to do this lol
