harley no-service
Well as a brand new harley owner I must say I am very dissappointed with the service. As a matter of fact it sucks. My left turn signal
comes on by its self and my dealer, Albany Oregon is not qualified to figure it out and I guess harley davidson is too cheep to change some parts to protect my life. Yea, the stinken turn signal came on and a car turned in front of me because he thought I was signaling to turn. My attempts to communicate directly with Harley NO- Service by writing (because they don't have E-mail) left me with an e-mail reply saying just bring it to a dealer, the'll take care of it. Well my local dealers need to keep it or need 10 days notice to get it serviced. WOW. 16000 dollars and I didn't even get daily transportation. As far as I'm concerned harley has lost me as a loyal customer. |
RE: harley no-service
find another dealer, this guy who sold you the bike is a jerk. for the right guy its an easy fix. most harley dealers are not like yours. and they would be verey concerned about a turn signal that comes on by itself. in the mean time, pull out the bulb and check it and or leave it out so this won't happened until you can get it fixed. This is not a MOCO issue it is a dealer one and the dealer is a nut case....I am sure you can find a good dealer somewhere else.
If not ..find a good aftermarket shop and get it fixed. present the dealer with the bill..... |
RE: harley no-service
FIND ANOTHER DEALER!! Run while you still can..lol
My dealership gave me a RK as a loaner while my bike was getting the 1000 mile maintinence. |
RE: harley no-service
Find a new dealer and report that one to the BBB call HD USA and raise some hell. This is becomming a all to often subject, stealers that don't know their butts from holes in the ground.

RE: harley no-service
I agree... find another dealer.
My dealer is not the greatest or anything... but they do go out of their way to make the customer happy. Granted, I am a "prefered customer" but I get a loaner anytime the bike is in the shop. Would I prefer to have my own ride? Hell yes... But at least I am still on a HOG when my oil is being changed. =) |
RE: harley no-service
Turn signals will get you killed either way ...nobody i ride with has em.

RE: harley no-service
ORIGINAL: tripl8 Turn signals will get you killed either way ...nobody i ride with has em. That said Jensenjim,I'd go to another dealer with your problem. Latus Motors in Gladstone (Portland) has a great service dept. A lot of guys are happy with Paradise H/D in Beaverton as well. Your dealer should have given you better service . They could have given you a direct ph# to the Harley warranty folks who would have taken care of your troubles . I have delt with H/D direct before and resolved problems and been satisfied. |
RE: harley no-service
FInd another dealer!!!!!! My RK did that. It was a bad switch. I replaced it myself in about 30 minutes (had to read the book.) You shouldn't have to do that to a new bike though. Don't give up on HD because that dealer sucks. Who is it anyway?

RE: harley no-service
Why is it that the guys who complain the most on here only have 1 post....I feel so used.

RE: harley no-service
LOL! I hate (substitute your choice of product) because mine had a minor problem and the local shop didn't fix it.
