T-Max Stutter on warm up
Hi guy's, I have a build as follows:
95"
S&\\;S 585 Gear Drive Cams
Nice street ported heads 1.90in. 1.63 ex.
D&\\;D Fat Cat
all in a 2006 street glide. I've had 3 different maps the current one is a good one after it warms up. During warm up the thing just kind of stutters along at low RPM 1500-2000, I can pull in the clutch and give it a clean out snap and it's nice and crisp, I just don't get the stutter part. All the maps did it to a certain extent. Any ideas are welcome. \\; Thanks \\; \\; Terry

RE: T-Max Stutter on warm up
When linked and cold you will notice that it runs really rich, as in lumpy and smooths as it heats up and leans out to the normal afr at temp. The adjustment for that is in the afr vrs temp map. Lean it some and it will run smoother as it goes through the warm up cycle. I assume this is what you are calling stutter?

I'll give that a try and see. What is, is a rap, pap, pap, pap, kinda like a V-8 with a huge cam that doesn't smooth out till 3000 RPM if ya know what I mean. Like drag race cars I've over the years. Snap the throtle and they clean right up. Thanks \\; \\; \\; " Terry "
