I just got the V&H Short Shots, Fuel Pak and SE Intake for my Nightster. LOVE the sound and the power seems better.

HOWEVER after programing the FuelPak to the settings supplied by V&H, I get a LOT of popping on deceleration. At night, you can actually see blue flames flying out the pipes.

Does anyone know of a 'tweak' or some sort of change I can make in my settings that would eliminate this obnoxious popping?

As I do not have a Power PAK I would just be guessing. But I think I have an undstanding of canned maps.

If there is a way for you to compare maps you should do this. Look for one a little bit leaner than what you currently have.

That is why Power commanders are so popular because you can connect to a computer and tweak the settings.

 

Write to V&H techies and tell them your problem. they will advise you of what changes insettings and which modes to play with. Or you could call them.
