So much for that bright idea, oh well gave it the good old cat house try.

How important is it for the main lambda table to be set to "original". I have tuned my bike off a fullsac tune and his main lambda is diff than the original. The one wizard sent in a example tune was different also for that matter.

Also I have been getting very good data runs with flight recorder. Just about all white now. However I still get the intermittent(not constant) click sound at 65-70 in sixth into a strong headwind. Is this a worry thanks.

Only needs to be set to whatever 'original' makes the bike function the best. That is not necessarily the original of the original base cal.

well what I discovered after playing with it some more.. the file you sent me is actually a zip file. If you rename it to .zip extension, there is another file inside of it called mtunedata.mt5

regardless it still cannot be opened with anything I possess. When trying to open with version 462 and 477 of SE software, it errors out with an inflation error message.

See if you can find out what application they are using to open these files with

Make 3 more posts and our PM's will work.

What program are you using to open the file?

An MT5 is a SERT file not a SEPST file.

Send me a file, Todd. I still have old old TTS v1. Maybe any MT1 would open, but I bet you would need a disk from the old SERT.

It's all about learning what file extensions go with what tuner. Old, pre MT8 TTS could still open MT6s, MT5s maybe not.

This is the 'why' I have both TTS suites on the tuning PC. TTS #1 before v65 can still open guys' old MT6s. I have v1.1 on a disk. I could try to install THAT on something and see what v1.1 can open.

OP, find an old software disk from the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner (SERT made by The Turbo Shop for Harley from 01 to 07), Take the file Todd (Nutz) figured out how to get open and you would be in business in looking and copying tables from. Where in Ohio you from? Near Ashland?

the file extension says mt6 however, if you open a file with wordpad or something similar it will usually tell you somewhere in the bazillion lines of scrambled text what file type it is. I saw "zipped with something" in there so I renamed the file to .zip, opened it up and this is when I found the mtunedata.mt5 file attached here.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7fjuky0uknvk3vo/MTUNEDATA.mt5

regardless neither will open.

I already talked to Steve. :-) He's too wrapped up with the 14 cals and vtune3 to fool with it anytime soon.

I read somewhere (think it was 1130cc forum) that a specialty app is sometimes used to create these files for the destroyers and I have a suspicion that's what created this hence the reason I asked Kurt to find out what app was used by the creator.
