How do I remove light bulb from Billet Headlamp Shell
Can anyone tell me how to remove the headlamp/lightbulb from Harley's Billet Headlamp Shell PN 67704-03. There appears to be a metal retaining ring inside, but there is also a small hole underneath the housing. I'm guessing there's a slick way to pop the housing open to change the headlight, but I could use a little help. Thanks

On the billet housing I have, there is an allen set screw in that small hole you describe. Loosen the set screw, then unscrew the bevel ring in the front of the headlight. Once the bevel ring is removed, there is a retaining ring that must be unscrewed. The headlight assembly should come out and the bulb is removed from the rear.

I have a 7" billet Aftermarket Headlamp similar to the part # 33-0449-VT from Debrix.
I removed the small set screwfrom the underside of the lamp. I then unscrewed the polished trim ring using a couple tabs of gorilla tape for grip.
After removing the trim ring, the actual lamp is held firm by a retaining ring that is spun off with the use of a punch and tapping mallet.
Then out comes the lamp.

I've got the 67704-03 shell on my WG too, and recently tried to open it up. I've got the instruction sheet and following the instructions- you pry it open using a small screwdriver in that hole on the bottom, and as you are prying it open put small (coin sized?) spacers in the openings along the edge that you create by prying in the hole on the bottom. I tried that and could see the shell around the bottom hole is going to get damaged. Looking at the exploded diagram of parts there is no set screw in that hole.
Supposedly once you get shims in the sides at 3 equadistant points you then use them to open it more by twisting them and working it open.
Its sure not something you can do on the side of the road.....
