Hey Woody, when you go through the turn signal routine to call up codes does that also reset them? If there's a code that the IAC is out of position does that reset it when you retrieve it or is there a specific sequence that tells the IAC "Hey Dude, you need to reset yourself."?
And do you know if leaving the battery out for a while will clear old codes/reset anything? I've had my battery out about a week now.

No, using the directional or the jumpers do not get rid of the codes. I use my twinscan and it removes the codes through the laptop. As for the battery being out that should work if you don't have the audible alarm module, the audible alarm also has a battery backup in, so it will not remove codes from the system-it will just never forget(haha).

So I just changed out my IAC and came across this thread. Did I miss how you calibrate the IAC? I installed it and have been trying to figure out calibration procedure with no luck.

I didn't do any calibrating on my 2007, the computer does it automatically at startup according to my manual. I don't know about other years.

Install IAC - cycle key on - off - IACs are on Delphi bikes. There is no setting the base TP on one of these.

If you are talking about Magneti Marelli - that is the ISC and that has a procedure for the base TP setting and setting ISC voltage
