I just purchased a 2017 RoadGlide Ultra and had aftermarket pipes and air filter installed by the dealer. The SE Protuner was included. I am planning on doing more modifications, so I went to download the software/maps for later use but when I enter my VCI number nothing happens. I've tried lowering my security on the computer but no luck Even tried downloading from my phone. I keep getting a message to re-enter VCI and choose an option but there is nothing to choose from.
What am I doing wrong?

 

I've heard you can put in all ones 11111... and get the software

So I have a 17 UC and only want to add slip ons and a K&N air filter. Do I need to tune it. I would like to add the Cobra 409 and don't really want the SE Cannons. Your thoughts. I can get the Cobra for 320 free shipping and no tax.

 

Do you just want it to sound better? If you want it to run better, you'll tune it. Otherwise, your leaving performance on the table.

 

Also I wouldn't waste the money on the K&N air filter for the stock air cleaner box , you won't gain anything with it.

 

SEPST if I buy this tuner for my SE M8114 and decide to go with V&H Power Duals or Fuel Moto Headers this tuner is useless? Can you use it for any no cat headers?

 

Just my opinion, but that tuner is useless no matter what combination of parts you use-- even if using HD parts.
