Throttle body Noise **HELP**
I recnetly installed some go fast parts on mt 09 Road Glide. Heres what I did: 103 kit with Screamin Eagle Pistion, Cleaned up the heads for better floe, Dave Mackie 575 Cams, Performance Machine Super Gas Air Cleaner, Andrews 4 degree advance gear and Thundermax ECM.
Problem 1: There is a loud ticking sound coming through the air cleaner, driving me crazy
Prblem 2: I cannot get the bike to smooth out on idle.
Thanks

The noise you hear may just be induction noise. When I first modified my Glide I was stunned by the increased inlet noise. Doesn't bother me now. To get your bike running right and to get the best out of it you really should have it set up by a competent dyno shop. If you had the heads done at a local shop do they tune bikes?

ThunderMax.
Run Auto Tune and run Auto IAC again.
Also make sure all the ground connection are good. Check the ground connection at the battery.
I had intake noise and I put the stock air box back on with a K&N filter and a few extra holes at the bottom of the box. Nice and quite now and power is still good. It may be a little less at high rpm, but I don't speed a lot of time there.
