This morning all of a sudden the digital display of my odometer is blank. No digits displayed at all. I have the H-D Speed/Tach combo. The speedometer and tech work fine but not digits for the odometer or trip meters. Everything else seems to be working.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

I believe that you will find that is an internal failure in the unit.

 

Well I am not sure what happened but I tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if it would come back but it didn't.

I got my old original speedometer and hooked it up any it worked of course.

Just for fun I tried the Speed/Tach combo that was not working and what do you know, it worked!

So I am back in business but I have no idea what was wrong.
