Default spark plug wires/coil

I have an 03 dyna low rider and am storing it for the winter, I decided to pull the plugs and put a bit of wd 40 in the cylinders to keep them wet. I figured I'd pull the plug wires off the coil and use the starter to run the pistons up and down a couple times. My cat jumped on the bike and knocked the plug wires and now I can't remember if the short wire went to the top or bottom of the coil.

For clarity, cylinder nearest the coil has a short wire, cylinder nearest front tire has a long wire. Which one goes to the top output on the coil and which goes to the bottom.

I've searched all over the place but can't find the info so any help would be appreciated

Default my softail had the short wire on the bottom??

Hi, hope Im replying correctly here, but...Im confused. My 95 softail custom had the short wire on the bottom terminal of the coil and went to the rear cylinder. (long wire to front cylinder going to top of coil) stock coil.
I hated the criss cross over look but hadnt thought about it. Was this incorrect since I purchased the bike? will it damage anything (had it 4months)
Id like to swap them around. shorty to the top of the coil....

It doesn't matter on a 95 as both plugs fire at the same time.
