Fog lamp wiring help.
Hi,
I am trying to install the engine bar fog lamps as per the write up on the forum.
I have run the wire from the lights through the engine bars then connected them together and run a wire terminating in a deutsch connecter (position 4, black and 3, white) that I have plugged into the accessory circuit.
The lights will not come on with the nacelle switch and the ignition on. I have triple checked all the connectors.I have taken the wires out of the deutsch connector and put the wires straight onto the battery terminals and the lights come on.
Any wiring gurus have any advice as it would be much appreciated and I hope the above makes sense.
Regards,
Chris.

Hi Wolfman,
I have tried the whole wiring loom by connecting it straight to the battery and the lights work, however when I plug the Deutsch connector in and check for voltage nothing is registering.
I have checked with the dash switch in the ignition and also the accessory position with the left hand side nacelle switch in the on position.
Fuse for the accessory circuit is good.
BTW my bike is an 09 Road King Classic if that makes any difference.
Cheers in advance,
Chris.

I used the accessorie plug under the seat and used the providedhd spot switch provided with the hd kit. It's good quality. I avoided jacking this into the bikes main harness like they tell you. The only reason they tell you to do that is they have tell you to wire this to shut off when your high beams are on.
I ran it as a separately controlled circuit. All I need is ignition power on and the Spot switch does the rest.

Thanks for all the replies, I have now solved the problem.
I have been checking the accessory fuse (stupid me) and the fuse that powers the accessory circuit is the P&A fuse. What kind of warped criminal genius labels the accessory circuit as the P&A fuse (what does P&A stand for?).
Regards and rant over,
Chris.
