My Bobber is cutting out and i suspect the fuel pump as i dont hear it whine when i switch to run before starting. I have removed it from the tank and wonder if there is any test to confirm it is the problem?

 

Are there any pin holes in the fuel line. Check the pressure regulator for a cracked mount or a pinched o-ring. Dont thing you can easily test the pump once removed from the tank.

 

Problem sorted, was a u/s solenoid. If this happens to anyone else the test is to change over the 2 x solenoids in the fuse box. New one ordered so good for "Thunder in the Glen" meet.
