What part of the engine and/or sensor is used to monitor Engine Temperature?

Can the Power Vision monitor & display the oil temperature on my 2011 Ultra Classic?

I recently saw Engine Temperatures around 310 degrees in stop & go traffic and I'd sure like to know how the heat was affecting my oil temperature.

 

The Delphi system uses a sensor on the front cylinder head for Engine Temp (ET), there is not an oil temp sensor so Power Vision is not able to display oil temp
