Filtered Velocity Stacks

I have a 06 Street Glide and am thinking of putting on a Velocity stack. Does anyone has positive or negative experiences with filtered velocity stacks? I appreciate your expertise and feedback.

RE: Filtered Velocity Stacks

Take a look at a velocity stack filter. It's tw metal screens, with a bit of foam held between them. Thewhole thing is stuck to the end of the stack with a rubber retaining ring. It will stop the big rocks and bugs, but that's about it. Strictly for the race track or for show. Don't use one on the street.

The one on the top is a standard filter.

I tried putting in some K&N filter material. I thought I was pretty smart making some efficient filters that looked good. But the engine at a few of them.

Now I use these filters on the street, and open stacks on the track.
