i have a 02 FLHRI that recently started missing while out riding . at first i thaught i had baught some bad fuel, but three tanks latter with some seafoam in each and my miss is just as bad as it was .. at times it goes away and runs as smooth as ever , but for the most part it has this little miss , skip , twitch, , that in my mind seems like no fuel through injector for a split second , or no fire for a split second .. along with the miss i notice the engine surges slightly at times .. from 0 to 100 whether fast or slow getting there if im on the throtle everythfng seems normal , power seems normal torque seems normal , but on level ground or slight incline with throtle stationary and not under any real load theres this slight quick hickup , miss ... bike has 34000 ... bassicly stock

 

I'd start with a new fuel filter, then spark plugs and plug wires. Btw, maybe just check to make sure the plug wires are tight.
