Default Lost speedo then digital odo, bang bang stop.

Anyone got any ideas? Was doing about 80, lost my speedo needle, few seconds later my odometer display, started misfiring and got worse until I lost power. Lights were still ok but starter is just clicking and not turning

Loose battery cable? Blown fuse? Those are the most obvious things.

Thanks bud. Checked leads but have never had to change a fuse in 10 years, do you know where they live on a dyna?

No, and my last bike was an `09 Dyna SG. I never had any occasion to check a fuse. I would get a service manual, though.

Sounds like a dead battery.

You may be right, or maybe charging system. Put it on charge and was able to turn over motor. What do you reckon, get battery and charging system tested?

Just start by getting the battery checked properly, it's more likely to be that than the charging system. Most auto parts stores can do that for you. Also check the battery cable at the ground to be sure it's clean and tight.

Have the battery load tested, then check the charging system.
