I just heard today that one of my riding buddies has passed. Vern I hope you rest in peace, you had a heart of gold, a selfless person and you will be missed. Dammit.

 

Im sorry for your loss Lauren... i wish you the best. Do you have something to remember him by that you can keep with you when riding? I lost a good friend 2 years ago and i keep his old bandana tied to my dynas handlebars so hes always riding with me.

 

Thanks Yama, no nothing of his but he was a funny guy. He told me that his cooling system is to put an open bottle of water in the cup holder and on a hot day while riding, to squeeze the bottle and you can shower yourself as you ride. I won't forget that and might even try it some day.
