Why don't you learn to do it yourself?
It is easy to learn, and the only tools needed are a timing light, .018 feeler gage, a screwdriver and a plastic plug for the timing hole.
Carb just needs a screwdriver.........pg

The plug is a clear plastic plug that screws into the hole on the left hand side of the crankcase. Yours has a hex head plug there now. This is located just below where the cylinder bases come together.
The timing mark is a slash (for the front cylinder) (dot for rear cylinder) that is on the leftside flywheel. This is seen thru the hole while the engine it running and you are doing the time setting.
The purpose is to keep the strong gush of oily air inside the crankcase, otherwise without the plug you will be getting your face well oiled as you look into that hole.
The plug can be found at a dealer or an independent shop that works on older HD's. You can also order one from J&P or some other online site. That would be the easiest way for me to get one..............pg

Nice looking Sporty. I've owned about 18 Sportsters. 15 in one year. My favorite was a 1958 with a S&S 1200 cc kit with a magnetoand it was kick start. After it started it was a blast. I bought it from a 72 year old man.
