I have a 1984 ironhead early year. I have a hardtail bobber frame and I want to change the frame . What year frame will this motor fit into so I can installl with no modifcation ? Thank you

 

I think it is 1977 to 1985. There is an oil pump change for 77 that affects the way the engine and the frame mate up. I do not know much more so see what others say.

the only frame i ever changed that did not need some thing was an OEM swap out
