I read once that Ford Type F transmission fluid worked very well in harley primary cases. Any comments would be appreciated.

 

Can't go wrong with HD Formula+. No reason to bother experimenting with other products, or the variety of opinions out there [including mine I guess ]

How much should it take?

 

1.5 pints == 24 fl oz is the correct amount. It does not take the entire quart.

A few guys have used the entire quart for many years with no ill effects. Not me.
