Looking for some help on my ironhead, sat in boxes for 6 years, if someone could chime in that would be great, looking for info on how to seal up the bolts that hold footpeg brackets on and other odds and ends. If someone could help me out I’d appreciate it.
Maybe you put this info in another post somewhere, but it helps us if you include the year of your bike somewhere so the people who know that year bike can chime in.

Also,it's best to just ask your questions,,and then we can answer as we read them,As far as sealing the bolts,do you mean such as Locktite?to keep them from loosening,as easy?

If this is what you mean then do not use red LockTite anywhere on your bike. There may be an exception when it comes to re-assembling a dismantled engine, but even this is debatable. Use blue LockTite on any bolts that do not have a lockwasher; one or two or three drops, no more. Consult the Factory Parts Catalog [FPC] part number 99451-78B to see which locations specify a lock washer. Consult also the Factory Service manual [FSM] 99484-78.
You can get these manuals thru any local indie HD motorcycle shop, or by searching eBay, Google, etc for the part numbers.
