What brand did you use? Single or duel fire? What componants got replaced.

When I switched to electronic I got a Dyna kit that came with the coil as well. It came with very clear instructions and made it perfectly clear that if the two wires that went to the coil were reversed, the coil would instantly die the first time you attempted to start it up and the warranty void for improper installation.

When I timed mine, I set it directly in the center of adjustment and it was dead nuts on in the timing window.

There are a number of "electronic ignitions". What have you got? is it just a replacement for the points, or a module(like the size of a wallet)? Have you set the timing (even electronics have to be set)? Do you have power to the coil? Do you have spark? Are you getting gas? Give us this info and anything else you can think of so we can help.

If you didn't get a single fire coil, it's fragged. Mine times by putting front on tdc, then turning the ignition till the light comes on and locking it down. my coil the red goes to + the pink and blue go to - front & rear, the purple goes to tach and the green is unused (voes)
