I need the actuation lever for my rear brake, switches and wiring for my handlebars, main wiring harness, petcock, taillight, oil and fuel lines and a seat. I think that's it.
I'd like a 18 inch rear wheel, but i think the 16 is fine for now.
dang! Movin right along! If you don't have any controls at all you may want to consider buying an aftermarket set. For under $200 I got a set that had all of the buttons and switches and about 18 inches of wire in the factory colors (which made it easy to hook up using the manual). The set also came with a new clutch lever, brake lever, and master cylinder. Made things pretty easy.
Evilwayz, I have gotten a lot of parts for my 79 Ironhead from two places on ebay, go to ebay advanced search and look up - alscycleparts, legendsmc, they both have a lot of goodies you might be able to use. Hope this helps your build. Ride safe.
How much length of oil and fuel lines do i need? Assuming I don't cut 'em right the first time.
I suggest you do not buy fuel or oil lines until you need them, and you are a ways from that.
They will just sit around getting dirty inside before you come to the point to need them.
Easier to buy later.
Just my 2¢ again.

as far as a main wiring harness yuo can make your own.just follow the factory diag.its not that hard that way you know its bullit proof.you dont want to buy a used harness may have problems.its also cheaper.
how does Yer tank look inside? any rust or crud..now is a good time to take care of it, if needed.. before paint. And have You had time to do a compression test? By the way..looks like You've done very well on Your parts and prices so far!! And,side mount tail lite/license holder looks good on hard tails.
I think it's illegal to have a sideways license tag in Florida. Finally took the engine off the frame and started hte process, frame is being painted right now. Also discovered a mikuni carb in the box of parts that seems to be the exactly like the one I bought on ebay.
