Default Clutch adjustment procedure

I know this isn't the right place, but I trust you guys.

I am traveling and don't have my manuals to reference. My friend just called and has his friend's 97 Sportster 1200 down needing a clutch adjustment. He has no manual nor has he done this before.

I believe I know what to do to talk him through it, but can someone post the steps here so I can be sure please.

Also, how much/what type of primary oil? Is there a fill mark behind the derby cover or is it just 1 quart like my 75?

Oh, it has the easy pull thing installed.

Thanks.

Sorry, i can't help with the clutch adjustment on an 07; but your 1975, if it is a Sportster, does not take a quart in the primary. It takes 1.5 pints, 24 oz - or until it begins to drip out of the overflow hole with the bike level, then wait until it stops dripping. A quart is way too much!
