Default 1970 XLCH Speedo

My speedo stopped working on me and I am having a hell of a time finding someone that can fix it. The 1970 XLCHs used Veglia speedos. Does anyone know someone that repairs them?

Some links I've collected from folks who had work done on their speedo. All have at least 1 positive recommendation and no negative that I know of. Some day I'll have mine restored.

Thanks! Some of these look promising. The "vintage Harley speedo" guys dont seem to know what to do with these Italian made Veglias, as they were only used on certain models over the course of a few years. I probably should have been looking for regular, general speedo guys all along. Thanks again.

Did you check the cable and the drive unit for problems?

Pre 1973 Iron Sportsters have the drive unit behind the sprocket cover, towards the bottom of the transmission area on the right side case.
Part number is 67127-52.
This is a known area of weakness in the cases and many have broken internally and grenaded a hole in the right side case. This would require splitting the cases and welding them up and milling back to proper specs.

This is what it looks like:

Hope this helps......
