Default Hey IronMick !

Trying to install my new Ultima Ignition. Looking at your pics from a diffrent post I see you were able to get the wires and the protective sleeve thru the hole on the cam cover. Whats the trick? The hole I have in the cover is small I can get the wires thru but not the sleeve. Thought about breaking out the drill bit and enlarging hole but thought it be best to check in first.

Thanks
T-Ron

Yes, the hole has to be enlarged. I used a cobalt drill bit, may have been 5/16".

It went thru like butter. It went thru so easily that it scared me and i had to check that i did not screw up. It was perfect. Cobalt bits i believe are the best for metal; may be overkill for aluminum. But i did not want to be struggling with it.
