I was at my Harley Dealership this week and went to the part's dept looking for some info on my 1977 XLH Sportster. I was looking for the Paint Part number for my color. The part's guy said they don't go that far back. Then an older guy (my age) said that the dealship has all the paint codes Number's for 1977 thru 1981. The Paint codes Parts Number is also for the Heritage and Classic. We started takeing about the ole day's. Lord to be hold he worked at the dealership were I bought my bike back in 1977. He made a copy for me for my record's Here's all the panit codes that the dealership had from Harley Davidson Motor Co in Milwaukee, Wis.
So they are for guy's !!! Here the color part Number. Hope this Help you.
