I am not a collector, nor a restorer, nor investor. I ride. And while do all of my own wrenching, modding and light fab-work, I wouldn't have gone $500 for that pile of junk. I could definitely spend the cash after someone else does the heavy lifting though
I ride I build I don't mind haveing a few old "heaps" layin around. Matter of fact I enjoy the old Iron much more than the Imports, tho I do ride one, 2009 cross bones. Iguess you can call this 64 yo man old school.
