The 1250 Custom isn't such a big deal because the V-Rod and FXDR already give them some credibility amongst the muscle cruiser fans.
.
I suspect this is likely, especially since they split the PA from the regular February launch of the 2021 bikes. They probably want all attention on the PA to help ensure it's success.

I'd expect either a launch of the Bronx (or "Custom" as the new Sportster) in early 2022 shortly after the launch of the 22 model year bikes. Another possibility is at one of the international bike shows like they have done before.

^^^ Definitely this. H-D has made it clear that the Pan America release is the big news for model year 2021 and it has to succeed.

I can't pull it up right now, but I thought one of the press releases vaguely promised the Custom for sometime this year.

H-D has stopped saying anything about the Bronx other than to confirm they aren't talking about it. That includes saying whether the project is dead or alive. I just kind of assumed it would be the big bike announcement for model year 2022. On the other hand, after it was announced in 2018 I assumed it would be at dealerships for model year 2019.
