I will be interested in reading about the sales figures as well as the reviews. But, obviously, HD ain't targeting me or those like me with this new model. From my perspective, it wouldn't be worth $10K to me, much less the $30K figure.
Maybe HD will do very well with this new bike. I wouldn't bet money on them doing well but, time will tell. And although I have my doubts I at least HOPE they do well--mainly because I don't want to see them go under.

You wanna talk about having a clue??? Look in the mirror dude..... You think Harley makes anything that is economically priced!?!? All their stuff is overpriced and we all know it!!! But we still buy the bikes because for whatever reason we find something appealing about em and are willing to spend a few more dollars. But this thing is $10k overpriced!!! I could see it costing the same as the new FXDR or Fatboy 114. You mean to tell me that this bike is a steal @ $30k???

Yeah.... I felt the need to share my opinion on a public forum. Oh the humanity!!!!

But I'll probably be in the grave before the Livewire becomes a cheap used Harley.

Again... They're only overpriced if people don't buy them.
Seeing as you can't actually buy one yet, there's no real way of knowing whether that's the case or not.
The availability of, or lack of, tax credits is just one factor in the purchasing decision. Tesla has to phase out their tax credits now -- so will their sales fall to zero? Somehow I doubt they will, but we will see.

That all depends upon your point of perspective. Novus has just released and electric motorcycle, well more of a bicycle, it weights 85 lbs, has a top speed of 60 MPH and a range of 60 miles, it's price will be $40,000. If you use that as your comparison point, ten grand less and almost double the range sounds like a bargain.
Then again, I'm not buying a Novus or a Livewire anytime soon, unless I hit the lottery.

Fact of the matter is, if we are sitting here bitching about the Livewire's cost, we aren't the target market for it.

Ok, in 2019 the tendency was easy to predict and follow, at least partially. But coronavirus pandemic changed everything completely. Who will take courage now to predict what will remain in demand in 2020? And what will happen to the prices? I am from Leeds, find 0113 are code information here, And unfortunately, everything looks very sad here fo far.
