No,though I have ridden the pre-production bike in the states twice and it was a great ride but I expect the production bike would be better.I am on a long shortlist for a First Strike bike but that might be a really really long shot.
I am looking at a Savic e-bike that is built and designed here in Oz for a test ride ,the owner wants me to ride it as a Livewire yard stick..

It's funny how people are convinced Harley will never get the pan America right on their first try, and everything I hear about the livewire seems like they nailed it... Excluding price and distance.

Good to see positive feedback.

Funny thing about that. The range of the LW is very comparable to their competition. Especially when you read up on the electric bike forums and find the competition tend to overstate their range and Harley tends to understate it. Then when you talk about price, the LW is about $7,000 more expensive than a comparably equipped Zero. That's pretty comparable to the cost difference between a Harley and a similar Japanese motorcycle. Anyone on this forum that has bought a new Harley has paid too much using that same logic.

The one thing Harley did screw up on the Livewire is that it has no built in Level II charging. You can charge at the slow level I (ie a 110 volt 20 amp outlet in your home) or at the Level III Fast DC charger (which is faster than the competition).

The people complaining about the price and the range of the Livewire aren't going to buy any current electric motorcycle.
