Default 6 or 8 inch

Just ordered the 6 inch ultra, but now I think I may have made a mistake and need to go with the 8...........The stock windshield is around 5 inches and Iam thinking 1 more inch is not going to do it. Opinions welcome.

I'm in the market for a 6" Ultra LRS if you're wanting to part with it. Light tint preferred.

I'm 6'5" and originally installed the 10", which was great on the highway but not so great on twisty roads. I ended up ordering a 8" and for me that feels just right, so I get enough wind protection and can still see the road through the tighter turns. If you're 5'8", that 6" might be the right one for you, unless you have really short legs and a very long torso.

Had to visit the thread because of the title. Curiosity as to what was being discussed. (Time to pick my mind back out of the gutter now).

I was advised to go big (10") and I'm glad I did. For long trips the more the better. You can always switch to your stock shield when around town. No big deal to make the switch.
