I have ordered five different shields over the last six years with no issues. Maybe there has been a change in management etc. My recent order was 6 months ago with no issues.

I have ordered from them twice (so far).
Once you figure out they use e-mail not the phone things go fairly smooth.
I believe they make the orders as they get them (don't keep a big inventory of pre-made shields).
I had a couple issues (that were all worked out) on my first order.
My 2nd order was smooth as glass (arrived this week) .

Most likely they have multiple hats and answer the e-mails when they are not making wind shields (but I don't know this for sure, just guessing).
Personally, I will order from them again.

I just ordered from them for the first time, and the website was pretty specific that they were build to order and would take a month or so. I wasn't too happy about it, but at $100 shipped it couldn't be beat. Got my shield and it looks and feels great. My only complaint is that it has holes in the bottom rather than notches, so I have to completely remove the four screws to install/remove (I only bought the shield for long rides, and I commute with my bike so installing / removing the shield happens often). I would order again from them, the bottome line is if you catch their sales they are about half the price of anyone else.

I can't speak to their customer service though.

Yes it does, but my last order came in less than a week (my first order took around a month).
So I know if they have a windshield handy (and not spoken for) it will get shipped out.
I also tried there Hog Wash (ordered one to try with the first windshield).
Tried it out for the first time on my trip to visit my dad this summer.
Every time I filled up I cleaned the front end with it.
Ordered four more bottles with the new shield, wish they sold it in a bigger container.

I ordered their new reaper model, the fit was terrible and now it is spider cracking from all three holes, the customer service sucks, quality sucks, something has changed?

I had ZERO issues with LRS. I had a ton of questions, called them & left a voicemail. An hour or so later they call me back, answer all my questions and I placed the order. That was Thursday before Labor Day, I had it in my hands the following week. I'm not a plastics expert but the quality seems pretty high, fitment is top notch, most importantly, it solved my wind buffeting issues. I could not be any happier.
