Hi Mike I am putting the fatshot mufflers on my 2008 ultra the Harley web site says 09 and up because of the cat. the cat in a 09 is in the pipe. on the 08 it is in the mufflers so these will not have cats that is good for me

Yes, Never found the problem, never found any shorts, changed the headlight bulb from a friends take off part.... worked fine for weeks before I traded it in on a 2017.... LOVE the new ride.... Total different handling bike... very happy.

I don't know what version it is, I bought one and was having problems, I returned it and they exchanged it on 5/29/2015 for S/N 0200111130502.... worked very well, never had a problem with this one. I bought the 6' cable and ran it through the rear speaker pod and into the tour pack. In that way I could leave my Nano locked in the box. Sorry I could not give you a better answer. Let me know JIM

Hi Mike. I was reading up on posts about upgrading headlights. You have contributed to a few threads in a good way. In one you said you did a 2 relay setup for HI and LO beams. I drew a little something up, because I'm not sure about a couple things (wiire guages and placement). I thought I would run it by you in IM and then revise the diagram before I post to a thread. If you could give it look-see and tell me what would make it better; that would be great. Of course I'll give you credit in the post. I really appreciate what you have contributed to HDF. Thanks - Ricky (RickRock in HDF)

I have read a lot of your posts and you seem extremely knowledgeable about many things Harley. I have a question regarding upgrading my audio system when adding an external amp can you tap into a power source in the fairing or does the power line need to be run straight to the battery terminals. I ask this because I don't want to have to remove the tank. Also does a switch need to be installed to power the amp on and off?
    Thanks in advance

Hi Mike, things were getting real slow on BH so I joined up here. I had to add another s but it is still Barbarosa. Still running the 90 FXRS hope you and yours are well and it's all good.

Hey Mike, I read in another thread that you might have some gauges lying around for an FXR? More specifically the tach/fuel gauge combo. I am looking for one for my '89 FXRP. If you still have one and it is for sale please let me know! Thank you.

Hi Mike, did your buddy go for that ride around Monument Valley? How did he enjoy it. Having starter issues again, tearing the thing apart tomorrow and trying to figure it out.
Might need to pick your brain once I get into it.
    Have a good one Mike
