Happy to help, but he is probably NOT gonna give you one shread of advice! His name is Mark Reid, of Mark's Custom Cycles, his phone number is (805) 658-9199.

He's a real pain in my ass to deal with, just because he has poor interpersonal communication skills, BUT he is VERY knowledgeable, very honest, and very has a great shop rate. I trust him.

But when it comes to dishing out advice, naw...he holds it very close to his chest, because that's his stock-in-trade, that's what his customers pay him to know, and nobody ever pays anybody for advice. I can tell you that he likes the V&H Pro Pipe, the V&H Fuel Pak, adjustable push rods...

But, when it comes time, I'll let him go wild with mine... I know that it will be done correctly, and it will be done as inexpensively as possible...go ahead and give him a call, but don't be surprised if you don't get anywhere with him, and don't be offended, he really is a nice guy, but he's also a business man too! Please let me know how it goes, and if you wind up pulling your hair out during your confab... I do the same thing!!! But I keep using him...

Greetings Veekness, I saw your post for the guy with the TC88" bike and wanting to get more ooomph out of it. You posted that an independent in your area has a recipe of things he does to wake up the 88". I am quite a ways from the West Coast since I live up here in the North Georgia Mountains and dropping by to see your guy is impossible. However, I would appreciate if you could give me his contact information. I am very interested to get his thoughts on what I might could do next to my '02 RK, stage 1. Thank you for your time.
