I used to work normal hours as a project manager until about a year and a half ago, we had a change in leadership and long story short, I got reduced down to a low level night dispatcher position with about a 30% reduction in pay. That was just before the oil industry went to crap. Through an even longer story I was able to get a good portion of that money restored and get the hours reduced to a twelve hour shift whereas before it was a 14 hour shift at night which sucked horribly.

My company sucks so bad now and people have gotten to be so shitty that I have kind of taken to liking to work at night since I am by myself and not have to deal with a bunch of back stabbing cowardly assholes. The seven days off in a row is also good because it lets me deal with the numerous health issues I have had in the last couple of years easier plus I have more time to ride and go on trips.

I work at night from 7 pm until 7 am for 7 nights in a row, with changeover day being on Wednesday. Wednesday morning (yesterday) I began my time off. On Saturday I am riding to Paragon in Marksville and coming back Sunday. I go back to work the night of November 2. Let me know if the dates line up with your plans. Also. I recommend going see GypsyLady in Breaux Bridge. Her and her husband Butch have a daughter with cerebral palsy that is a real angel. GypsyLady still rides despite having lost on arm in a bike accident. That right there takes courage and she is good people in my book.
