Default Fuel Leak

Have a 2018 Heritage 107 with 1700 miles. You read that correctly.
I have smelled gasoline lately and today I just noticed that when I shut the engine down, I get a fuel leak at the rear left of the engine case. A few drops right after shut down. I looked and cannot see where it comes from.
However, I am not happy that I have this issue and I am waiting for the dealer to come trailer it back to fix. I have extended warranty.
Does anybody else have this issue?????

When you mention still waiting to ride, how many miles do you have on your bike ?

How many it got delivered with, plus the dyno break in and dyno tune. I bought it while I was over here.

My 2017 RGU occasionally goes into limp mode. Dealer has looked it over but found nothing. It just about got us ran over by a dumbass trucker who was a dick. If it would have happened in the construction zone later in the trip where it was bumper to bumper and we were alll running 70 with no emergency lane and no where to pull off, we'd have been ran over when the the bike suddenly decelerated. I think it's a problem with the black boxes, but dealer hasn't acknowledged that yet. Anyone have similar issues? FIxes? How can you prevent the damn thing from going into limp mode - I'm certain limp mode has caused some accidents. It's a terribly risky situation to have that happen at speed in traffic.

Default Limp mode

Had a problem with my bike wanting to shut down as well as often shutting down in slow traffic in 1st gear. Had the dealer replace the clutch switch and now it's great. If your bike will not start in gear...that's the problem. Gratis under warranty.

Default Oil Transfer

Purchased in May, had to add 8 ounces to Trans at 500 miles. Had 1000 mile service done they stated primary wasn’t over full but I questioned that, (where did if go then). Fast forward 1500 miles no oil on transmission dipstick took it back to dealer and after a to the point conversation they decided to add vent kit to primary. Will monitor oil levels and hope to update with some good news. Been riding Harley’s all my life my first being a shovel but a little frustrated with the price of a new bike and to have these kind of issues at 500 miles.

Mine has that issue also. I did the 1,000 mile service at about 900 miles and there was only 10 oz’s of oil that came out of the tranny. I’m at about 1400 miles now and tonight I had to add nearly half a quart. It’s going into the dealership Monday. They are going to drain the primary and if it is overfull by 4 ounces or more they will install the vent kit. And I guarantee it is WAY over full. And will be more so after this weekend.

Just don’t get it as to why people are still buying these things with a known engine defect for over the past 12 months,
Its kinda like buying Toyota Prius when you know it’s a little more that the floor mats getting in the way as the car takes off by its self.

My wife asked me a few months back if I wanted to trade my 17 1200 custom for a Harley Farman or I could have a Quad.

I’m glad she got me what I got.

Default Dry transmission dipstick

What are the dealerships charging for the vent kit? My 2017 RK had a dry dipstick on the tranny late last night at 9600 miles. My local dealership is closed today. My warranty has run out.

And what exactly do they do to install the vent kit?
