Won a 6.5 head unit off an 18 RG on EBay to replace my fogging 4.3. Tired of fooling with Moco and they want a fortune to upgrade my radio to 6.5. Just praying this unit works as advertised.

For your sake I am hopeful for you as well. I do believe however, you will need to have the BCM flashed to accept that radio.

Will likely need flash but I'm hoping not since it's from the same year and model bike and has already had the features activated. I'm new to this computerized crap so I guess I'll find out..

The 6.5 Head unit is not the issue, the BCM on the bike needs to be configured for it. The current BCM Flash is for your unit. If you know an Indy with Diag4Bike or such, they may be capable.

Here are a few pics of the custom handles for my wife.

Lid has plenty of clearance when opening.

Part of the detachable sissy bar.

All welded, bolted on and black powder coated.

Best oil filter extension. I don't fight that filter/oil mess anymore!

Black anodized body.

SS 3/4-16 insert, red lock tight.

Oil filter on.

Do have to remove shift arm. Also had to shorten shift linkage a bit.

Just another picture.

Ready to roll.
