Default Custom Made CVO Backrest

As it's very hard now to get something from overseas I decided to make the backrest by myself. Used 16mm steel rod to make the same shape as original. Other metal parts were CNC machined as per my sketch. Few hours with spot welding/trying it on, final weld and preparation for chrome plating.
The result is awesome!

Added a chrome clock to the handlebars. Just couldn't read the one in the speedo display very well. Just one of those personality quirks. I always like to know the time and my location. Comes from years as a Navy OOD.

Moved stuff from my Ultra that would fit. Currently demoing a KlockWerks 8.5 shield. Installed 4 point docking so when the time comes I can add a rack for long distance now that I no longer have a Tour Pack.

I got up, loaded up the bike, headed out on the road. didn't have any particular destination in mind. just pointed the front tire and went. man, the bike was riding smooth. exhaust just purring right along, and jamming out on tunes. wind blowing through my hair, perfect autumn temps.

then I woke up and realized, I still have my 2013
