Test rode a 2017 Road King this afternoon. I was very impressed with the ride and engine but like any new offering, I will wait a year or two before purchasing as there are sure to be issues with recalls to follow...

Yup, I had test ridden a new RK a couple of weeks ago. Can't stop thinking about it. Really impressed with it. But as you say, probably the wise thing to hold off for a year or so.....or say, **** it!!!!

If you have to finance, Id wait and see how the first year engines do.

If you can pay cash, what the hell !!

I am up for a new bike, something different to replace my Trusty '14 Road King. A new Road Glide is whats turning me on. The '17 is an awesome bike, and I have faith in the Motor Company. They been doing me right since 1978, so jumping on a first year model is no concern for me.

I test rode the 17 RG and SG and decided after that it was time to ,are the leap. I traded in my 12 SG and jumped on a 17 SGS. What a change and I am more than happy with the choice of doing in now rather than next year or so. HD will stand behind the engine if here are issues

Previous Rushmore owners, myself included, appear to be jumping all over the M8's. That alone should tell you something. My '15 RG was a great bike. My '17 SG is x2 that

Wow....bold statement from Rushmore to M8's....I'm so far behind with mine, but still in love with the old moped....The market will be flooded with past, not to old Rushmore....Hmmm....

Haha, I suppose it is. Well, I said it so I better stand behind it now. I'm telling you though the improvements are very noticeable.

I'm with ya...I went from a 2014 SGS to a 2017 RGS and feel the new M8 is a beast stock. I can't wait to see what it feels like with a proper stage two. Love the new bike now and let the Moco step in if need be...for now I'll just enjoy!

I demoed all 3 years of the RK and SG. Almost pulled the trigger on a '16 RK but the salesman was snarky. When I demoed the '17 it was all over. Very happy with the new RK, but I came from a Sporty so the change was more dramatic. Got used to the heel shifter and new clutch after a couple of rides. This Fat Lady sings to me every time I get on her.
