Yep. Ive seen that happen for nearly 40 years. In my day municipalities were going for Kawasaki KZ1000s. Circa TV Series "CHiPs.

Well she's home in the garage. The wife didn't kill me. Didn't even get loud. Now I'm scared. No the Skunk RG isn't mine. Working on that one for a friend. Was in Austin last year, saw 2 MC cops pull up on their white foreign patrol bikes. Reminded me of Ponch and John.

 

And a few with Victory. I saw a bunch in an officers funeral motorcade recently.

 

Very nice! I have the 2014 version myself. Mines all white. There's company that makes a very nice backrest for the new cop seats. Only place I know that makes them. Let me know if you need the info. It's also worth taking the time to adjust the seat "preload" spring. As I recall, mine was too hard at first. The cop seats are improved over the old ones and they were good to begin with. They remind me of the old Electra Glide Standard before they quit selling them. Just a really nice basic version of an Electric Glide. I have the HD soft lower's and they work very well at keeping some heat on you when it gets chilly.
