Guess I'll ask at the parts counter if the seat numbers are the same. That is if the newbies they just hired have figured out the new books ...........

Don't think they did. All my older seats fit my 17.

There were a bunch of improvements touted in 2014 and who knows what changes were made for 2017.

2009 47900-11BHP FRAME MAIN $2,258.14
2014 47900-14BHP FRAME MAIN $2,258.14
2017 47000088BHP FRAME MAIN $2,325.96

A M8 would still probably bolt up with minor modifications. I guess
.

Don't think it will, they have completely new cases, a very different primary system castings included and don't know about the tranny but hear it was redesigned case wise also. The gist is you'd have to buy a complete drive train package, motor, trans and primary setup then get busy figuring out what will be needed to shoehorn it all into another frame. Money wise don't think it would be economical for a few years till the wrecked market starts getting a supply of used parts in.

There's a couple videos on youtube showing the bare motor, every things different about the new cases.

I meant the entire motor/driveline. The question was about the frame.
No way the motor itself is bolting up to a twin cam config.

Seats are the same, all my stock seats and corbin seats from my 2013 fit on my 2017. Thank goodness cause i did not want to have to buy new seats. However my primary cover is different so i couldn't use my custom primary cover i had.

Ironic. The '16 Rushmore primary cover from the Limited's and the R G's with the new narrow primary also fit the M8. Same part number in fact.

Yeah, i learned that when i double checked part numbers, i swear when it first came out all the parts looked like they were interchangeable but they either changed it or i was wrong. I kicked down my custom cover to my buddy with a 2015 rushmore glide. He was happy, i was sad.

Default Killed my urge to trade

That by itself really slowed down my desire to trade for an M8. I have a lot of stuff from Joker Machine and Performance Machine that won't migrate to a '17. May be in a few ............. Otoh, I may just 110 the 103. It would be way less expensive and there is an excellent Mo-Co dealer a half day's ride from me in NM that doesn't charge through the roof hourly rates. Having them do the engine would be cheap insurance.
