It is cool every time you get off the bike it chirps twice. No problem there. What I don't like is every time you stand up the bike or move it, even with the fob present, it chirps twice or three times, and one of the chirps is VERY loud. I believe it's doing this until the system finds the fob. One would think it would find the fob on one of it's heart beats, but nope. Stand the bike up, Chirp, Chirpppppppp. Try working on your bike in the driveway. Each time you get off, chirp chirp. Get back on or move it, Chirp Chirpppppp.

I would love to hear someone has a fix for this besides cutting the alarm wire.
You could remove the siren, its right behind the left side panel. Remember to disarm the system first, as I think if you pull it out armed it will go off when disconnected. I removed mine from my wide glide to put on my road glide, and turned the ignition on with the FOB present before removing.

Also, in case anyone is wondering, the siren is the same for lots of models years, and hasn't changed for the M8 - I pulled mine of my 2011 wide glide and put on my 2017 road glide.
