Default Radio For the new bike

OK, Bought the Police Bike. Obviously no radio. Very happy with my speakers on my Road Glide but I need a radio. Want blue tooth and USB. Thanks for suggestions.

My Cop Glide was an '08, therefore the space for the radio was the same size as a traditional car radio. Hog tunes had kits for those year bikes.

With your new bike, I don't know what size radio you'd need. I'd check with Hog Tunes and the people at the Retired Police Bikes Forum.

Buy a sena BT headset and be done. NO one wants to hear your crap music.

Just go back to the dealer and give 3000 for them to put the infotainment back on. Or buy a Metra din kit. You can search for yourself online

Also how were you able to Score a Milwaukee 8 police bike already?

There is a Audio sub section on here with some very knowledgeable folks in there. Jump in there and they will certainly give you some advice and hints.

Biketronics is popular. Crutchfield's offerings seem to be somewhat limited.

Have you considered an iPod nano? The nano has a built in FM radio as well as Bluetooth etc.

The other iPods don't have the FM Radio.

What kind of phone do you have? Perhaps using it could be a cost effective option and gets you the additional benefit of GPS.

I do get out much. I ride every day. Im still surprised you were able to score a M8 police bike.

You really dont have much choice in audio upgrades other than what HD has and what Metra has come up with. Unless you want something custom, which cost even more money.

You already saved a ton of money buying a police bike. Let alone they are almost impossible to buy because they are alloted to certain departments and whatever they have leftover, the dealer can sell it. And they just came out which you got really lucky. Buying a M8 police bike is like finding a magic unicorn. They have all the features you need and none that you want.

HeeHeeHeeHee, I am pretty lucky. The wrong color was ordered. So the police dept denied them. So the dealership was able to sell them. They have one left.
