When I made my external vent system with my Stage I air cleaner I did not have any fuel line on hand but I did have some 5/32" windshield washer rubber tubing, which I used. After 18 months it still works without any incidents. It does not get so hot as to melt that hose when pushed over the breather bolts. One reason I used the windshield hose was because it is more pliable than fuel hose.

Thanks, but wasn't my idea. I saw an external photo somewhere on the forum where someone had done this. I just engineered this setup using the same can he did. It's a clean setup. Wish I had thought of it myself.

What you guys think of this?
One connection from the breather to the canister, the other one from the canister goes to the intake inside the air cleaner to create a slight vacuum in the canister.

Suction can’t hurt, don’t know how much it will help. Curious to see how much fluid you catch after ~2000 miles. Uphill path might be tough for the snot to climb.

I get a lot of snot & mine does some uphill. Last 3 bikes it has worked out fine.

Can’t (won’t) argue with success!
Good to get and keep that snot out of your engine.

I guess I can run the hose downward...
