Here's another M8 big bore we just completed. 2017 CVO Street Glide with a Fuel Moto 124 big bore upgrade. We used the FM 124 M8 big bore kit, Wood WM8-408 cam, stock heads, SE64mm TB with CNC ported manifold, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe & Hi Roller mufflers, we used the FM AC/DC air cleaner with large element and dyno tuned it with Dynojet Power Vision.

@FM: Is there any reason to port & polish the cylinder heads with great numbers like those? Would there be enough performance gain to make it worthwhile?

The stock heads have the capability to flow enough air without porting and polishing. Probably the best part of the new M8 is the heads.

Fuel Moto now offers a 10.8:1 compression 117" big bore piston & cylinder kit for H-D Milwaukee Eight 107" engines. This kit works with a wide range of cams and makes big power for not alot of money. MSRP is $699.00 + core exchange. We have a bunch of kits in-stock ready to ship. Check them out at https://www.fuelmotousa.com/i-23897134

The Fuel Moto M8 Level B CNC cylinder head was developed through dyno & extensive flowbench testing to deliver maximum performance on hi-output H-D Milwaukee-Eight engines. The Fuel Moto M8 Level B heads are fully CNC ported and are best suited to 117" & larger engines developing 130-150 horsepower. Requires larger throttle body and exhaust system that is designed & proven to support the horsepower level for this application.
M8 Level B Cylinder Head Porting includes the following:
  • Full CNC porting for maximum velocity and flow
  • Multi radius competition valve job
  • Wood Performance .600 lift beehive style springs
  • Replacement of valve guides & seals
  • Re-machining of gasket surfaces
  • Heads are thoroughly tested, valve seats are replaced if necessary
  • 89cc combustion chamber
  • Exchange with core charge or 2 week turnaround on customer supplied heads

Are you going to put larger valves in the heads?

Also I've seen a couple companies making 4.250 bore cylinders that will drop right into the cases without machining them that would take my 117 CVO up to 127.68 cubes. Do you guys at Fuelmoto have any plans to make 4.250 cylinders. I'm looking to get as much torque out of my motor as possible.

We do have some larger M8 kits and a handful of other components that will be released in September. Stay tuned!
