Have you added the new oil pump cover & seal on any or are you just going with the original set up if it wasn't sumping beforehand? It wasn't mentioned but I take it that you went with the 5.5 injectors with this last build, can 114 ci builds with stock TB get by on stock injectors? Thanks for all the info you share.

We've used the S&S cam plate & oil pumps in some builds and a few customers have requested Fueling parts. The vast majority of our builds are using the stock oil pump & plate, including both of our shop M8 test bikes. The build you are referring to has 5.5 injectors which are required on combo's making more than about 120Hp. You can use the stock injectors for many mild 114 & 117 builds.

Seems like a big drop in torque from this previous posting with pretty similar run conditions and same exact parts.

The previous post was our 128" kit with 4.5" stroke crank. The air conditions of the 124 we just posted were not good, we were tuning at a density altitude over 3000ft, it was raining with low pressure. Also note this bike was brought to us as a brand new 2019 bike with 2 miles on the odometer.

EDIT: just seen the 124 chart you posted. These are pretty identical builds with the same off the shelf components. The differences are in the conditions, the bikes had different air cleaners, the bike posted today had an aftermarket wheel, one was a zero mile build on a new bike, and the other bike had 7000 miles.

Can those bikes shown above on this page actually cruise down the HiWay at say 80 or 90 MPH with out over heating or sumping or anything else for longer than a few miles? Are the engines able to keep their oil, etc cool enough? In other words, can these bikes be used for touring or do they become worn out pretty quick.

They sound great for a round town Bar Hopper.
